I was able to open my mission call the same day that my best friend (Heidi Corbridge) opened her mission call. She was called to serve in the Spokane, Washington mission on January 30th, and I was called to serve in the San Jose, Costa Rica mission on January 9th! The Lord has truly blessed us both and has called us to serve in the places we need to be. I only have five more days until I enter the MTC and I am excited to greet my best friend when she joins me a few weeks later!!
